SK Driving School, a reputable and well-established driving school in New York, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driving Instructor to join our team. As a driving instructor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals develop safe driving skills and acquire their driver's licenses. Your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive driving lessons to students of varying skill levels, ensuring they receive the necessary knowledge and practical experience to become confident and responsible drivers.

Responsibilities:

1. 1. Conduct behind-the-wheel training sessions for students in accordance with the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles guidelines.
2. 2. Instruct students on driving rules, regulations, and safe driving techniques, emphasizing defensive driving practices.
3. 3. Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions to educate students on traffic laws, road signs, and driving theory.
4. 4. Assess students' driving abilities, identify areas for improvement, and develop personalized lesson plans accordingly.

Requirements:

1. 1. Valid and current New York State driving instructor license.
2. 2. A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a driving instructor, preferably in a professional driving school setting.
3. 3. In-depth knowledge of New York State driving laws, traffic rules, and road safety practices.
4. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students of diverse backgrounds and age groups.
5. 5. Patience, understanding, and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
6. 6. Strong observational skills to assess students' driving abilities and identify areas for improvement.
7. 7. Ability to adapt teaching methods and techniques to meet the individual needs of students.
8. 8. High level of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism.
9. 9. Clean driving record with no history of traffic violations or accidents.

Preferred Qualifications:
